French billionaire dies in a helicopter crash

In France, a billionaire and National Assembly deputy Olivier Dassault died in a private helicopter crash. He was 69 years old, Europe 1 reports.

According to the TV channel, the tragedy took place in Touquet on the coast of Normandy. In addition to Dassault, the pilot also died.

French President Emmanuel Macron on his Twitter called Dassault’s sudden death a great loss. “Olivier Dassault loved France. Captain of industry, deputy, local elected official, commander of the Air Force reserve: during his lifetime he did not stop serving our country, ” the head of state wrote.
