Fox News to pay fine after harassment investigation

The American TV channel Fox News will pay a fine of $ 1 million after an investigation of the culture of behavior in the workplace, launched after a series of “high-profile” reports of sexual harassment within the company, according to a statement published on the website of the New York Human Rights Commission.

“The New York Human Rights Commission announces a historic agreement to pay $ 1 million in a sexual harassment case against Fox News Corporation,” the statement said.

According to the document, the commission launched its own investigation into Fox News after several “high-profile reports about a culture of widespread sexual harassment and punitive measures” within the company.
