Former Uriah Heep lead singer Ken Hensley dies in London

British rock musician Ken Hensley, who became famous as the lead singer of the group Uriah Heep, has passed away at the age of 75. This was announced by his brother Trevor Hensley on his Facebook page.

“I am writing this with a heavy heart to inform you that my brother Ken Hensley passed away peacefully on Wednesday night. We are all devastated by this tragic and incredibly unexpected loss, and we ask you to give us some time to come to terms with it,” wrote Trevor Hensley.

He also asked fans and friends of the deceased not to ask questions about the farewell ceremony, noting that the musician would be cremated at a private ceremony in Spain.

Ken Hensley performed with Uriah Heep from 1970 to 1980. He became famous as a talented composer and soloist, and the group gained worldwide fame thanks to the original version of hard rock and experiments with sound and genres.
