Former Manchester United defender Tony Dunne died at the age of 78, according to the club’s Twitter page.

Dunne played for Manchester United from 1960 to 1973. As part of the team, the defender spent 535 matches, scored two goals. Together with Manchester United, the Irish became the owner of the European Champions Cup, the winner of the FA Cup, and two-time champion of the country’s first division.
