Former IOC President Jacques Rogge has died

Former President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Jacques Rogge has died at the age of 79, according to the official Twitter of the IOC.

“With great sadness, the International Olympic Committee announces the death of former IOC President Count Jacques Rogge. He was 79 years old, ” the message says.

Jacques Rogge was the head of the IOC from 2001 to 2013, when German Thomas Bach replaced the Belgian.
