ForbesWoman magazine will publish an interview with ex-tennis player Maria Sharapova in the March issue.
The magazine announced this today, having posted the cover of the issue. Its publication is timed to coincide with the anniversary of how Sharapova announced her retirement – February 26, 2020.
“Tennis player Maria Sharapova entered the new issue dedicated to the phenomenon of self-made – and this is her first interview for a long time, where she told how she lives without big sports and builds a career as a businesswoman,” Forbes reports.
Sharapova’s last tennis tournament was the Australian Open 2020. Maria received a wild card from the organizers, but in the first round, she lost in two sets to Croatian Donna Vekic. A month later, Maria announced that she was saying goodbye to professional tennis without showing up for any other tournament.
