Flagship Xiaomi Mi 12 will receive a Snapdragon 898 chip and will be released in December

Xiaomi recently unveiled the flagship smartphone Mi MIX 4 in China, and is now starting to prepare for the next top-end device.

Naturally, we are talking about Xiaomi Mi 12. According to an insider, the Chinese manufacturer plans to show the new product in December. The smartphone will be equipped with the new flagship processor Snapdragon 898. The SoC, according to rumors, will be built on Samsung’s 4-nanometer process technology. It is credited with a maximum clock speed of 3.09 GHz, an Adreno 730 graphics accelerator, a proprietary 5G Snapdragon X65 modem and a new core layout: 1 + 3 + 2 + 2 instead of 1 + 3 + 4. It will be one Cortex-X2 core, three Cortex- A710, two Cortex-A510 and two Cortex-A510 (with reduced frequency).

In addition to the new chip, Xiaomi Mi 12 is also credited with support for 120 W wired charging, 100 W wireless charging, as well as a display with an LTPO matrix and an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. By the way, the iPhone 13 line of smartphones will receive similar panels.
