First time transgender wins beauty pageant in USA

The title “Miss Nevada” this year for the first time in history won a transgender. Writes about this Las-Vegas Review-Journal.

Among 21 girls who participated in the competition, 27-year-old Kataluna Enriquez was recognized as the most beautiful.
The award ceremony was held at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

“For me, inclusiveness and diversity are important. This is something that I did not have as a child and which is still lacking in the modern world,” Enriquez told reporters.
The victory in the prestigious competition will allow the model to qualify for participation in other major events of this kind – “Miss USA” and “Miss Universe”.

The winner of the title of the most beautiful American woman will be determined in November.
