Financial markets: in Europe and Asia, the dynamics are mostly positive

Oil markets on Thursday show mixed indicators.

European financial markets showed mostly positive dynamics on Thursday.

The Paris CAC-40 index was up 0.8 percent by mid-trade, Frankfurt’s DAX was up 1.3 percent, and London’s FTSE was down 0.5 percent.

Asian markets also closed on an upbeat note on Thursday, with Tokyo’s Nikkei index up 0.4 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng up 0.3 percent and the Shanghai Composite up 1.3 percent.

Sydney’s S&P/ASX rose 0.6 percent, Seoul’s KOSPI rose 0.4 percent, Taiwan’s TSEC rose 0.1 percent, and Mumbai’s Sensex rose 1.1 percent.

On the oil markets, the dynamics are mixed: us crude oil fell 0.3 percent to $ 40.76 a barrel, while benchmark Brent crude rose 0.1 percent to $ 43.34 a barrel.

Ahead of the opening of trading on Wall Street, futures for the Dow and S&P 500 indexes are showing a decline, while the NASDAQ, on the contrary, is growing.
