Former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson wants to return to the Octagon in December 2020. He wrote about this on his Twitter page, challenging the newcomer of the promotion, ex-Bellator champion Michael Chandler.
“Sunrise time. Let’s close 2020 on style. Michael Chandler, you asshole, you asked for this. December,” Ferguson wrote on the social network, along the way tagging UFC President Dana White and matchmaker Sean Shelby.
We will remind, Ferguson last appeared in the Octagon in May 2020. Then he lost ahead of schedule to Justin Gaethje. Tony broke a streak of 12 victories. As for Chandler, Michael recently signed with the UFC.
He has been competing in mixed martial arts since 2009. On account of the American 26 fights in MMA, in which he won 21 wins and suffered five defeats.
