Facebook Cloud Gaming will be available in Europe in 2022

Games are a favorite pastime of millions of users and an increasingly serious business for game developers and game studios around the world. Cloud services are gaining popularity because of their obvious benefits. Cloud game streaming lets you play your favorite games no matter what device you’re using.

Facebook is also closely following the development of this product category. The company offers its own gaming service called Facebook Cloud Gaming. Users have access to a portal with a dedicated selection of web games with which they can spend their free time.

IPhone and iPad owners can now launch Facebook Cloud Gaming from the web app. To do this, you need to follow the link from one of the Apple devices and, using the prompts, add a service shortcut to the desktop.

Currently, a few months after the official premiere of the service in October 2020, 25 “big” games can be played in a web browser. These include Roller Coaster Tycoon Touch, Lego Legacy Heroes Unboxed, Dragon Mania Legends, and State of Survival.

At the same time, Facebook named Ubisoft the best partner for its gaming service. The most popular game on the platform is Assassin’s Creed Rebellion.

Apple has postponed the release of Facebook Gaming as an iOS app several times in recent months, without allowing a separate Facebook Gaming app to enter its App Store. Also, there is currently no integration data for Android devices.

Unfortunately, European users will be able to test the full-fledged Facebook Cloud Gaming service only at the beginning of 2022. At the moment, when trying to launch the same Assassin’s Creed Rebellion, the user is greeted with a warning about the impossibility of launching the game in this region and an offer to play one of the thousands of simpler casual games.
