Eurovision will let the audience in

The Dutch government has confirmed that the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam in May will allow viewers to enter.

Earlier it was reported that the country’s authorities would allow the public to attend the Eurovision Song Contest to check the safety of mass events in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic if the situation with the spread of coronavirus in the country does not worsen.

At all nine shows – six rehearsals, two semi-finals, and the final-a maximum of 3,500 viewers will be able to attend at the same time. However, to be admitted to the event, they must have a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus.
