Europe sees record increases in COVID-19 cases

France and the United Kingdom recorded a record daily increase in cases of coronaviruses, Free News reported regarding local data.

So, in France, 16,972 new cases of infection with a new type of infection were detected. It is noted that since the abolition of quarantine measures, this is the highest figure. A total of 606,625 cases were recorded during the pandemic.

There are 12,872 new infected people in the UK.

According to the World Health Organization, the number of coronavirus infections in the world has exceeded 34.7 million. The leading countries in their number are the United States, India, and Brazil. Russia ranks fourth in this list.
