Erdogan wished the Johnson recovery

Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan sent a letter to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is undergoing treatment for coronavirus, in which he wished him a speedy recovery and invited him to visit Turkey, recalling his Turkish roots.

“I wish you a speedy recovery and after the end of the pandemic, I would like to invite you to visit our country, which is the homeland of your ancestors, to strengthen our bilateral relations, as well as to discuss steps for our cooperation after “Brexit,” Erdogan said in a letter distributed by his administration.

He also wished the people of Great Britain, which is one of the countries most affected by the pandemic, “to get out of this tragedy with minimal losses,” recalling the help that Turkey provided by sending a plane with medical cargo to London.
