Epic Games asks the court to return Fortnite to the App Store again

The confrontation between Epic Games and Apple continues. Although the court recently ruled not to force Apple to return the Fortnite game to the App Store, Epic Games again turned to the servants of Themis with a complaint of 182 pages, which described why the court should support them.

A new report says that the number of players on iOS dropped by 60%. At the same time, there are 116 million people in Fortnite on iOS, 63% of them play only on this platform. Epics worry that they will “never see these users again” and that the community is divided.

The company also claims that its clients who have nothing to do with Fortnite were affected. Recall that recently Apple blocked the developer’s account in the App Store, as a result of which other Epic Games games were removed from the store. The studio also claims that it will not be able to register a new account in the coming year.

Apple has not yet commented on this information. The next court hearing will take place on September 28, but it will consider the return of Fortnite to the App Store only during the trial.
