Elon Musk has put another 60 Starlink satellites into Earth orbit to distribute the Internet

tarlink launched another 60 satellites into Earth’s orbit, increasing the constellation of its space objects to 350. The live broadcast of the launch was conducted on the YouTube channel of SpaceX, another company by Elon Musk.

The satellites were launched on the reusable Falcon 9 launch vehicle, for which this launch was the fifth in recent years. At the same time, the company for the first time during commercial operation failed to return the first step to Earth. It was planned that the stage would sit on a floating platform in the ocean, but before the separation of the second stage, an accident occurred with one of nine engines, which changed the trajectory of the fall of part of the launch vehicle.

At the same time, SpaceX managed to catch both parts of the Falcon 9 fairing.

By the end of the year, Starlink will launch another 180 satellites into orbit, and in 2021 it plans to launch a test operation of the satellite Internet system in the United States and Canada.
