American entrepreneur Elon Musk congratulated the Blue Origin Company of the world’s richest man Jeff Bezos on the successful suborbital flight of the New Shepard spacecraft.

“Congratulations,” Musk wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. Thus, he commented on the video of the landing of the ship, posted on the Blue Origin page.

Blue Origin on Tuesday carried out the first suborbital flight of the New Shepard spacecraft with passengers on board. Among them, in addition to Bezos himself, were his younger brother Mark, 82-year-old Wally Funk, a former professional pilot who passed the astronaut training program, as well as 18-year-old Oliver Damen from the Netherlands. Funk became the oldest person to have been in space, and Daemen became the youngest.

Jeff Bezos is the owner of Blue Origin, as well as the founder of Amazon Corporation. In the list of the richest people in the world compiled by Bloomberg, the entrepreneur takes the first place. His fortune exceeds $200 billion. Musk ranks second on this list with $181 billion.
