Eli Lilly suspends trials the cure for COVID-19

Earlier, Johnson & Johnson announced the suspension of testing of the coronavirus vaccine.

Another pharmaceutical company has suspended testing of an experimental COVID-19 drug for safety reasons.

US-based Eli Lilly announced that clinical trials of its antiviral drug for coronavirus had been suspended by independent observers “as a precautionary measure,” but did not go into details.

The day before, the American drug manufacturer Johnson & Johnson suspended large-scale clinical trials of an experimental vaccine after one of the participants was diagnosed with an unexplained disease.
