31-year-old Eiza Gonzalez has become the heroine of the new issue of Shape magazine. In an interview, the actress told how her perception of her own body has changed with age and what she does to keep fit and healthy.
Eiza says that the older she gets, the more she appreciates her body and accepts all kinds of “flaws”.
“Now I have become much more confident. I see a girl in the mirror and understand: I want to love her. It’s me. I don’t want to judge her. I want to thank my body for being healthy, especially after this pandemic. Many have realized that our bodies are trying very hard to keep us alive. We should be grateful to our body for that, ” Eiza said. However, it took the actress a while to come to such thoughts.
“About four years ago, I was on the beach with my boyfriend, and the paparazzi photographed us. In those photos, I can clearly see cellulite, and I was so ashamed of it. But now, when I look at this cellulite, I feel sexy. Even with these irregularities, I feel sexy, especially when I sit down, and the fat collects on the side of my thigh. Seriously. I feel like a woman. It gives me strength. In 20 years, I have not felt anything like this, “– said Gonzalez.
Asa also spoke about her training: “I have three types of training, which I alternate. This is a high-weight, low-rep workout that’s what you need for your Hispanic butt. It’s also interval training: cardio plus exercise. And Pilates. It works well for muscles that I didn’t even know existed. ”
When it comes to nutrition, Gonzalez makes himself one day a week eating whatever he wants. “This is the main rule. I can eat cakes, pizza – any food I want, because the body needs it to stay happy, ” said the actress. Last year, Aisa, she says, learned a lot of new recipes and significantly diversified her diet: “It motivates me a lot. My body has become cleaner, I can see how it manifests itself.
