In September last year, the 30-year-old performer spoke about the long-awaited addition to the family: his wife, 28-year-old Cherry Seaborn, gave birth to a girl.
The star couple chose an unusual name for the baby – Lyra Antarctica. Knowing about his love for the writer Philip Pullman, Fans of Ed Sheeran suggested that the baby was named after the main character of the “Dark Principles” trilogy.
Ed flew to Australia for unfortunate circumstances. Sheeran could not miss the farewell ceremony for the famous entrepreneur Michael Goodinski, who is called “the father of the Australian music industry.” At a special tribute show at the Melbourne Stadium, Ed performed Michael’s favourite singles, Castle On The Hill and The A-Team, and a brand new track dedicated to his late friend.
Sheeran and Seaborn now live in Sorrento, where they were caught by the paparazzi last weekend. Happy parents walked with the heiress, sheltering her from the rain. Even in a tiny town, Sheeran met his loyal fans. The singer gladly took a selfie-and even showed fans his new tattoo, which he made in honour of Gudinski.
