EA Sports respond to allegations of illegal use of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s image

EA Sports has commented on the accusations of the Swedish Milan footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic that the Canadian video game developer used his face and image illegally without prior notice to the player.

EA Sports noted that under the contract with Milan, Canadians could use the name and appearance of the athletes from the club.

“This is why we have a long-standing relationship with FIFPro. The association is working with several licensors and is negotiating agreements that will benefit both players and trade unions, ” a spokesman for the sports simulation studio NU.nl was quoted as saying.

Earlier, Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic expressed outrage at the actions of EA Sports, which uses his name and photo in the FIFA football simulator without obtaining the player’s permission. Ibrahimovic plans to investigate and find out who makes money on his behalf.
