DxOMark is not happy with the iPhone 12 Pro Max camera

The DxOMark lab has not yet released a full review of the iPhone 12 Pro Max camera, but they did give a small comment about the smartphone’s photo capabilities.

It seems that the iPhone 12 Pro Max camera did not delight the specialists of DxOMark. On the Chinese social network Weibo, they wrote:

“Even though the telephoto focal length of the smartphone has increased from 52mm for the iPhone 11 Pro Max to 65mm, providing support for 5x optical zoom, it still falls short of competitors with a focal length of 100+ mm.”

For example, the Huawei P40 Pro has a 125 mm focal length, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has a 120 mm focal length, and they occupy the top lines of the DxOMark rating. Therefore, the prizes of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, most likely, will not be seen. Recall that last year’s iPhone 11 Pro Max is now only 16th in the ranking.
