DJI today unveiled a new version of one of its most popular drones. This is the DJI Mini 2.
The novelty received the same appearance, a folding case with a weight of 242 g (was 249 g) and an updated “filling”. The DJI Mini 2 is equipped with a 12-megapixel camera sensor with a 1 / 2.3 ”sensor size, support for 4x zoom and improved image quality at night. In addition, the module can now record videos with 4K / 30fps resolution and bit rates up to 100 Mbps. For comparison, the previous model shot at a maximum resolution of 2.4K (40 Mbps).
The Mini 2 also boasts updated Wi-Fi with OcuSync 2.0 technology. It provides an improved wireless signal. Due to this, it was possible to increase the flight range from 4 to 10 km. The drone has a battery life of 31 minutes and a maximum speed of 16 m/s.
DJI Mini 2 has already appeared on the official US website of the manufacturer. The issue price is $449. The previous model costs $50 less.
