The movie “Cruella”, starring Emma Stone, debuted in theaters just a week ago, and viewers are already showering the tape with flattering reviews. The audience appreciated the history in the style of punk rock and a somewhat eccentric view of the universe of “101 Dalmatians”.
Many have noticed that the ending of the film hints at a sequel, and Craig Gillespie, director of Cruella, said that the sequel is likely to see the light of day.
“It seems like we just met Cruella. I would like to tell more about her further destiny. She managed to create a real syndicate, I would like to see where her adventures lead,” said Gillespie.
The director was also asked if he is ready to take on the work on the sequel.
“Only with the previous team, we worked together very well. We promoted a lot of our ideas, and at Disney they always agreed with them. I hope it will be the same with the sequel. We will definitely discuss this,” the director admitted in an interview with Collider.
