Copenhagen has granted Nord Stream 2 AG a permit to operate the “Nord stream-2” gas pipeline, the country’s energy Agency (DEA) said in a statement.
This is a section on the Danish continental shelf.
Nord Stream 2 AG will be able to use “Nord stream-2” if it fulfills its obligations to operate the highway safely. In particular, at least one of the gas pipeline branches must pass the necessary testing and verification.
Denmark outlined these conditions in the construction permit it issued last fall. As the DEA notes, “they have not yet been completed, and they are essential for the operational phase.”
