The fraction of the Democratic Party in the Lower House of the US Congress is ready to compromise with the administration of President Donald Trump to finance security on the border with Mexico, but not to build there obstacles to illegal immigrants. This was reported on Saturday, citing its sources in the Congress of CNN.

According to it, the Democrats next week will vote on a package of six bills on improving security on the US border with Mexico. In particular, it is planned to allocate an additional $1 billion for these purposes. However, the opposition party in the House of Representatives of Congress did not include a provision on the financing of the wall in the draft laws.

This circumstance will inevitably prevent the parties from reaching a compromise that allows to resume the work of the Federal government, CNN notes. According to her, the Democrats will hold a vote only to avert their eyes and will insist that security at the border can be provided by other ways, not by building a physical barrier.
