The 28-year-old singer has graced the cover of the new issue of American Glamor and, in a candid interview, revealed what she learned from her short-lived relationship with Max Erich last year.
Recall that at the very beginning of the general quarantine, Demi Lovato, unexpectedly for everyone, became engaged to the actor. Still, it never came to the wedding – already in September, the stars broke up.
“As I started to grow up, I began to realize how much I feel about the queer community. Last year I got engaged to a man, and when it didn’t work out, I thought, This is a huge sign. I thought I would spend my life with someone. When I decided not to do this, I felt relieved that I could live my truth, ” the singer shared.
“I know who I am and what I am, but I’m just waiting for the right moment to reveal my true identity to the world. I live by my own time and use it to learn and educate myself about this journey and what I’m about to do. I slept with a girl and thought: I like this much more. I feel better. It was right … I didn’t want to date someone of the opposite gender. I realized that I value friendship with these people much more.”
