Cyberpunk 2077 Rescue Update Released: Major Changes in Patch 1.10

CD Projekt kept their promise and released the first big patch for Cyberpunk 2077, which should save the game from major problems.

Apologizing to players for the poor condition of Cyberpunk 2077, CDPR announced the January and February updates that should fix the situation. In patch 1.10, the developers focused on improving the stability of the game.

According to CD Projekt, the team has improved the algorithm by which memory is used by character systems, interaction with the world, AI, navigation, destruction, and so on. In addition, the developers have corrected the errors of many quests that interfered with the normal passage.

For Sony consoles, the team has optimized crowd handling performance on the PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5. On the PlayStation 4, a number of crash bugs have been fixed.

For consoles, Microsoft has improved the memory usage algorithm during character creation, scanning, remote camera control, map navigation, and so on. The changes affected Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox One S.

On the PC, fixed errors related to loading the cache on NVIDIA video cards, which caused crashes on startup.

Stability

  • The algorithm by which memory was used by systems of characters, interaction with the world, navigation, in-game videos (news and TV shows), vegetation, laser effects, mini-maps, devices, AI, traffic, destruction of the environment, use of a video card, etc. has been improved.
  • Fixed bugs that caused the game to crash (including those related to loading save files, starting the game, exiting the game and the point of no return).

Quests / Open World

  • Fixed a bug due to which calls from Delamaine during the “Reintegration” mission would end immediately and could not be accepted.
  • Fixed a bug due to which Delamaine did not call when the player approached the desired vehicles during the “Reintegration” mission.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the quest “Paradise Lost” was stuck on the goal “Answer a call from Mr. Hands”.
  • Fixed a bug due to which Judy was transported underground during the quest “Let Me Go, Depth”.
  • Fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to speak with the Zen teacher during the quest “The third meeting with the elements.”
  • Fixed a bug due to which Takemura did not call during the mission “Old Friends”.
  • Fixed a bug due to which Jackie disappeared during the mission “Downfall in Malstrom”.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the player could not get out of the car during the quest “Queen of the Highways: Big Races”.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the player stopped receiving calls and messages if he moved too far from the place of the quest “Who is not with us.”
  • Fixed a bug due to which the objective of the mission “Gifts of Space” was not updated after opening the suitcase.
  • Updated save files, in which, due to a rare error, an invisible wall prevented talking to Judy during the “Dollhouse” quest. We are investigating the cause of this error.
  • Fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to receive a reward for completing the “Free Press” order. Those who could not receive the reward will receive it automatically, and the order will be completed.
  • Fixed a bug due to which Delamaine was silent during the “Reintegration”, if the player previously refused to help him.

Interface

  • Fixed a bug due to which the hint about exiting the braindance did not appear.
  • Removed loot icons on items that cannot be picked up.

Graphic arts

  • Fixed a bug due to which the trajectory of the grenade was displayed in the photo mode.
  • Fixed a bug that caused particles to turn pink when zooming in.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the vehicles appeared incorrectly during the mission “Crime: Welcome to Night City”.

Achievements

  • Fixed a bug due to which completed tasks in Santo Domingo were sometimes not counted, interfering with the achievement of “Urban Jungle”.

Other

  • Fixed an issue that caused save files to be oversized (due to a modifier based on the number of items crafted) and reduced the size of existing save files. Save files created on the PC and corrupted prior to installing Update 1.06 will not be affected.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the input from the device ceased to be read after opening the radial menu of weapons and performing any action.
  • Fixed a bug due to which, when clicking the “Continue” button in the main menu, the save file generated after the game was finished was loaded.

PlayStation changes

  • Optimized performance when handling crowds on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.
  • Fixed a number of issues that caused the game to crash on PlayStation 4.

Xbox Changes

  • Improved memory usage during character creation, mirrors, scanning, remote camera control, and map navigation and equipment menus on Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Xbox One S.

PC changes

  • Added the ability to get Steam achievements offline. Offline mode must be enabled before starting the game. This change will not affect achievements that were met prior to installing the update.
  • Fixed errors related to loading the cache on NVIDIA video cards and causing the game to crash on startup.

Changes for Stadia

  • Fixed a bug due to which the sound was not played at the concert during the mission “Beauty does not die”.
  • Restored damaged textures for some melee weapons.
  • Changed the default settings for the dead zone of joysticks. This change will make the controls more responsive, but will affect your settings only if they have not been changed.
