Compact flagship ASUS ZenFone 8 mini is already tested in Geekbench

An as-yet unannounced flagship ASUS smartphone has appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database.

The novelty is codenamed ASUS_ZS590KS and, according to several sources at once, this is a compact smartphone ASUS ZenFone 8 mini. According to the report, the new product will come with a top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and Android 11 operating system onboard. In addition, the device will receive as much as 16 GB of RAM. The gaming smartphone ASUS ROG Phone 5 has the same configuration.

As a reminder, the ZenFone 8 mini is codenamed SAKE. The smartphone is credited with the presence of an OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a diagonal of 5.92 inches, fast charging at 30 W, as well as a dual main camera with Sony IMX686 and Sony IMX663 sensors. The announcement of the device should take place in the near future.

By the way, besides the ZenFone 8 Mini, ASUS is also working on the regular ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip. The devices will also work on the Snapdragon 888 chip, but at the same time, they will receive more cameras and OLED screens with a larger diagonal.
