Clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine have been completed in Russia

Health Minister Mikhail Murashko announced the completion of clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine developed by the national research center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Gamalei. According to him, mass vaccination is planned to be carried out from October.

Murashko noted that a package of documents is being prepared for the registration of this drug.

“We expect at least two more applications in the next one and a half to two months for permission to conduct clinical trials,” the Minister added.

He noted that after receiving the registration certificate, the use of vaccines will begin. First of all, special groups will be vaccinated.

“These are primarily doctors and teachers, and there will be more monitoring of vaccinated patients,” Murashko explained.

According to a source, registration of the vaccine is expected on August 10-12, and permission for civil circulation is planned to be obtained on August 15-16.
