Chinese foreign Ministry urges the US to abandon thinking during the “cold war”

Regarding the new “US national intelligence strategy”, in which China and Russia are called threats to the US side, Chinese foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying today at a regular briefing for journalists said that the Chinese side on this occasion expresses a strong protest, once again calls on the US to abandon the thinking of the times of the” cold war ” and the outdated concept of the zero-sum game.

Hua Chunying said that “the US has recently released a series of such reports and made false accusations against China. We are strongly against it.”

She added that the Chinese side has repeatedly reiterated that China has always been on the path of peaceful development and its military policy is
entirely of a defensive nature. China always takes the position of the builder of peace in the world, contributor to global development and protector of the international order. “The Chinese side once again calls on the United States to abandon the thinking of the “cold war” and the outdated concept of the zero-sum game, and to do more for mutual trust and cooperation between China and the United States, as well as strengthening global peace and stability”.
