China replied to the US in a trade war

China will retaliate after the US decision to increase duties on imported products from this country, which entered into force on Friday, May 10.

The Ministry of Commerce of China regretted Washington’s increase in trade duties from 10 to 25 percent on Chinese products in the amount of $ 200 billion. At the same time, the Chinese side is counting on the settlement of differences during the US trade negotiations.

On May 9, President Donald Trump accused China of disrupting the trade deal and warned that Beijing would face tough tariffs if no agreement was reached.

Due to the fact that China is not included in the draft trade agreement between the countries the majority of the requirements of the USA, Washington decided to increase the duty from 10% to 25%. In addition, the American President did not rule out that under the duties will fall and Chinese goods that were not previously subject to them.
