China began publishing COVID-19 disease statistics in people without symptoms

China began publishing COVID-19 disease statistics in people without symptoms. This is stated on the website of the National Health and Health Commission of China.

During the day in China, 130 cases of coronavirus infection were detected, which proceeds without symptoms, but the test showed a positive result. A total of 1,357 patients without the symptoms of COVID-19 with positive coronavirus test results are known in China.

Earlier, China did not include in its statistics people with COVID-19 disease who did not have symptoms. It is not completely known how many such people live in China, and why the authorities did not include them in the disease statistics.

On April 1, 2020, Chinese authorities officially lifted quarantine from the 11 million city of Wuhan, which became the epicenter of infection in the country. The city has been quarantined for the past two months.
