Chelsea won the UEFA Super Cup

London Chelsea beat Spanish Villarreal on penalties and won the UEFA Super Cup for the second time in history.

The main time of the match, held in Belfast, ended with a score of 1: 1. Villarreal responded to the goal of Hakim Ziyech (27th minute) with an accurate shot by Gerard Moreno (73). There were no goals in extra time, and the players of the London team were more accurate in the penalty shootout.

The main referee of the meeting was Russian Sergey Karasev, linesmen Igor Demeshko and Maxim Gavrilin helped him.

Chelsea previously won the UEFA Super Cup in 1998.
