According to him, this week only 2 million doses of drugs from the American companies Pfizer and Moderna were planned to be delivered to Canada, but the firms managed to increase deliveries. Previously, the country did not deliver so many coronavirus drugs in one week.

On December 14 last year, vaccination of the population began in Canada. Currently, vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and AstraZeneca are available in the country. 17.3 million people (55% of the population over 12 years old) were vaccinated.
