Caitlyn Jenner is running for governor of California

The 71-year-old reality star “The Kardashian Family,” who raised two super-successful daughters, Kendall and Kylie, with ex-wife Kris Jenner, decided to try her hand at politics. Today Caitlin announced that she ran for the governor of the “golden state” of the United States.

“I’m in! California is worth fighting for. It has been my home for almost 50 years. I came here knowing that anyone, regardless of origin and position in life, can make their dreams come true. Sacramento needs a new leader with a clear vision, ” Jenner said in an official statement.

The network greeted the news without much enthusiasm: in the comments under Caitlin’s post, hundreds of people noted that they would never vote for a star: firstly, she had no experience in politics, and secondly, she supported Trump. Jenner’s famous relatives have not yet commented on her decision.

Caitlin likely hopes to emulate the success of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who served as Governor of California from 2003 to 2011. But the attempt may turn out to be a failure – like Kanye West did with the presidential elections last year.
