Briton Kirk became a player of “Arizona”

British forward Liam Kirk has signed a three-year rookie contract with the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, the player’s agent Dan Milstein said on his Twitter page.

Kirk was selected by Arizona in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft at number 189. In the 2020/21 season, the 21-year-old hockey player played for the Swedish “Hanhals,” in which he scored 10 points (5 goals and 5 assists) in 12 matches, and the English “Sheffield” (20 points, 10+10 in 14 matches). He previously played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

At the 2021 World Championship in Riga, Kirk shared the title of the best sniper with Canadian Andrew Mangiapane (7 goals each).
