Braden Holtby is unable to travel to Canada due to paperwork problems on the turtles

Vancouver Canucks goalkeeper Braden Holtby was unable to cross the border between the United States and Canada due to problems with documents for two pets – the turtles Honey and Maple.

The border between the countries is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the ex-Washington goalkeeper received permission to enter Canada, as he signed a contract with the Canucks. Holtby obtained all the necessary permits to import turtles into Canada but did not apply to export turtles from the United States.
