Blogger Jake Laser recreated Captain America’s shield

American blogger Jake Laser has recreated Captain America’s shield from the MCU. Moreover, not just its appearance, but also its main features.

Layser created many prototypes, but ended up settling on a carbon fiber and fiberglass version. Thanks to such materials, the copy, like the original, is able to push off the walls and return back into the hands.

To launch and catch the shield was as convenient as possible, Leiser came up with special magnetic mounts on his arm. As shown in the video, this solution really works.

As for the protective functions, the shield, of course, will not save from bullets, but from bottles, knives and bricks – it does.
