Blinken will visit Germany on June 23-24

The US Secretary of State will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Berlin next week to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Foreign Minister Heiko Maas. This was stated on Friday at a briefing in Berlin, the official representative of the German Cabinet Steffen Seibert.

“On June 23, the Chancellor will receive US Secretary of State Blinken. On this day, he is taking part in the Berlin conference on Libya,” he said.

Blinken will also meet with Maas on June 23. “We will talk about all the foreign policy topics that were raised at the last summits,” the ministry said. A press conference is scheduled to follow up the meeting. On June 24, both politicians will lay wreaths at the Holocaust Memorial.
