Blinken spoke to Abbas

They discussed measures to maintain the truce.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a telephone conversation with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. They discussed the measures needed to preserve the truce between Israel and the Palestinians.

Blinken told Abbas that the United States is ready to work with the Palestinian Authority and the United Nations to urgently provide humanitarian assistance and mobilize international support for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
