Biden was infuriated by the question of canceling Trump’s executive orders

US President Joe Biden chose not to answer a journalist’s question about the restrictions imposed on the EU by his predecessor Donald Trump.

It all happened at the US President’s press conference following the G7 summit. The reporter asked why Washington did not lift trade duties on steel and aluminum exports from the EU. Also, the media representative wanted to find out how the whole situation is perceived by other leaders of the “Big Seven.”

“One hundred and twenty days. Give me a break. It takes time,” Biden said with exasperation and even slammed his hand on the podium.

In the spring of 2018, Washington imposed tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum from Europe, Canada, Mexico, and other countries to the United States. The ex-president in that situation referred to the requirements of national security.
