Biden proposed the author of “miracle on the Hudson” for the post of permanent representative to ICAO

WASHINGTON – US President Joe Biden has nominated the famous pilot Sully Sullenberger for the post of Permanent Representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The corresponding message was distributed on Tuesday by the press service of the White House.

Ten years ago, the commander of the A320 Sully Sullenberger successfully landed the plane on the Hudson River in New York after the car failed both engines due to a collision with a flock of geese. None of the 155 passengers were killed.
