Joe Biden slipped and sprained his ankle while playing with a dog, his office said, according to Reuters.

Biden’s office said in a statement that the incident occurred on Saturday. “For reasons of caution,” the 78-year-old Democrat will be examined by a doctor on Sunday evening, the Agency said.

Biden’s motorcade arrived at the orthopedist’s office in Newark, Delaware, around 4 p.m. local time. According to Reuters, the motorcade was accompanied by journalists, but they were not allowed to leave the minibus, and they could not see Biden enter the building.
