Biden discusses “challenges” from Russia and China with Baltic leaders

US President Joe Biden discussed the “challenges of Russia and China” with the leaders of the Baltic States, the White House said.

“President Joseph Biden met today on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Brussels with Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, Latvian President Egils Levits, and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda. The President stressed the strong support of the United States for the security of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and the entire region,” the White House said in a statement.

“The leaders also pledged to further strengthen our political, military and economic partnership, including working together through NATO to meet the challenges from Russia and China,” the statement said.
