Biden congratulated Obama on his anniversary

The US president called the former head of state his brother and friend.

On Wednesday, the current US President Joe Biden congratulated the former head of state Barack Obama (2009 – 2017), on his 60th birthday.

“Happy birthday, Barack Obama. I am proud to call you a brother and a friend. And I am grateful for your selfless service to this country,” Biden wrote on Twitter. He attached a joint photo to the post.

In the Obama administration, Biden served as vice president.
