Biden confused Obama with Trump

US President Joe Biden made a mistake, confusing his predecessors Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

Speaking in Pennsylvania, he said that in 2009, “then-President Trump” instructed him to deal with the withdrawal of the automotive industry from the crisis.

“Sorry, a Freudian slip of the tongue… It was President Obama when I was vice president,” Biden immediately corrected himself.

Barack Obama served as President of the United States from 2009 to 2017, and then he was replaced by Donald Trump.

Biden quite often makes unintentional reservations — so much so that he even considers himself a “blunder machine.” For example, he called Vice President Kamala Harris president, mispronounced the name of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, and confused the words “vaccination” and “escalation,” and Syria with Libya and Iraq with Iran.
