Biden answered the question about the recognition of the Taliban

U.S. President Joe Biden said that the recognition of the Taliban government in Afghanistan is still “far away.”

As stated in the message of the journalistic pool, distributed by the press service of the White House, the U.S. president approached the pool that met him, intending to make a certain statement.

“Tomorrow is a big day ahead,” Biden began, but reporters interrupted him with questions about Afghanistan.

In particular, he was asked about the recognition of the Taliban regime.

“It’s a long way from that. It’s a long way from that,” Biden said in response to this question.
