Biden answered a question about the new Cold War

US President Joe Biden said that he told Russian President Vladimir Putin at the talks that a new cold war is not in the interests of either the US or the Russian Federation.

“I told him, our generations have a difference of 10 years… it is not in the interests of either your country or our country to be in a situation that would become a new cold war,” Biden said at a press conference following talks with the Russian leader.

“And I sincerely believe that he understands this,” the US president said.
