Beyoncé set a historic record at the 2021 Grammy Awards

Singer and producer Beyoncé is recognized as the most awarded female musician in Grammy Awards’ history. The organizers of the ceremony announced this on their Twitter page.

So, based on official data, Beyoncé won 28 awards after this year’s award. The previous record was held by country singer Alison Krauss, who had 27 figurines in her piggy bank. Conductor Georg Solti has an absolute record, having won the prize 31 times.

“It is a great honour for me. I’m excited. As an artist, I believe that my work and all our work is to reflect the times. It was such a difficult time, ” the singer said during the ceremony.

This year, the famous singer earned 4 new statuettes: Best R&B Performance, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Music Video. In addition to her, the winners were Taylor Swift with her album Folklore, Billie Eilish with the song Everything I Wanted and rapper Nas, who won the Best Rap Album category. The main composition of the evening was a song by the singer H.E.R. I Canʼt Breathe. One of the award winners was Megan Thee Stallion, which has three statuettes, two of which she shared with Beyoncé.
